Professor Pascal Aymar, Director Sports Unit, EMLYON Business School
Pascal Aymar, Director of EMLYON Business School Sports Unit, has more than 30 years of experience in the Sports industry. Before joining EMLYON Business School two years ago, he worked for Salomon at different board level positions , Scott USA where he created a subsidiary and Adidas-Group where he was Asia Pacific Vice President Marketing for Reebok , based in Hong-Kong .
He remains active in the Sports Industry as a specialized consultant for different companies and is also a Vice-President of the Outdoor Sports Valley, a Cluster based in Annecy (France) gathering most of the actors from the Outdoor Sports Industry.

The global sports industry is growing rapidly. During last 20 years, the annual growth rate of global sports market is 5%. We’ve seen the expansion of many world-renowned sports brands, such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, etc.
In China, the sports market is booming: during last five years, the average annual growth rate of sports industry is 16%! In such a promising and fast-growing industry, inevitably, young talents with a deep insight of sports industry and management skills will be hunted by companies.
