In July and August, the University of Marburg will host its 16th International Summer University (ISU). Whereas the general focus of the program will remain on the Near and Middle East and Peace and Conflict, this year’s academic program will cover a much broader range of perspectives on this tantalizing topic.

Language of instruction… | …is English. All students interested to improve their German language skills beyond the German class may do so by taking the module “EU-Germany-Middle East”, one seminar in this module will be taught in German. |
New in 2014! | Module structure: broader range of topics covered by the seminars, all taught by the University’s leading academics and international experts. New supplement courses: Hebrew, Turkish, and Arabic language courses; German culture course. German language class has been extended and will comprise 45 hours. The field trip to France has been extended to three days. |
