Swissnex China is Switzerland’s outpost to promote the Swiss excellence in science, technology and culture in China. Every year on the occasion of the Western New Year (31 December), swissnex China sends out greeting cards to its friends and partners in China but also in Switzerland and the rest of the world, in order to thank for their collaboration and looking forward to the up-coming one.
On this occasion swissnex China opens a design competition for young design students:
The students are warmly invited to send their design proposals for a New Year Greeting card. The design needs to have a relation to Switzerland or China: As swissnex China is acting in the fields of science, technology and culture between Switzerland and China, the card’s design theme shall be related to one of these fields or to a significant, outstanding Swiss or Chinese scientific or cultural events, art piece, or endeavor.

All the submitted design proposals within the deadline will be judged by swissnex China and the winner’s cards will be used as swissnex China New Year Card of the corresponding year.

瑞士联邦政府科技文化中心新年贺卡设计竞赛
瑞士联邦政府科技文化中心是瑞士政府在中国设立的分支机构，旨在加强瑞士作为科技创新和文化先进国家在中国的形象。每逢西方新年（12月31日），中心都会给在中瑞及其他国家的朋友和合作伙伴寄送新年贺卡，以此感谢他们的支持，并期待未来更好的合作。
为此，瑞士联邦政府科技文化中心将面向设计专业大学生开展新年贺卡设计竞赛。设计要求如下：设计主题需与瑞士或中国相关。由于中心在中瑞科学、技术和文化领域扮演着重要角色，主题应和这些领域相关，也可以和中国或瑞士的重要科技文化活动、艺术品或艺术科技事业相关。
